On the way from CA to IL for this trip, they played Iron Man 2 on the plane.
If you haven’t seen it, in the movie Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) is seen drinking huge containers of CHLOROPHYLL!
So when I made my green juice this morning, I poured out little shots for my friend’s 12 year old son and his 2 friends that had spent the night…
I walked up stairs where they were playing Legos and said
“Who wants a shot of Iron Man Chlorophyll!?”
Two of them dove in and the third looked to the others for confirmation of it being tasty before he downed his also.
They said:
“This is actually really good.”
“For some reason this tastes good.”
LOL
I said, “Cool…I’m glad you liked it.”
Then they all emptied their little glasses and I walked back downstairs smiling with my tray.
So…how can you make some Iron Man Chlorophyll?
Juice these things (organic of course if possible)
Iron Man Chlorophyll
1 bunch of organic spinach
3 organic Fuji apples (one of the sweetest apples)
2 organic oranges
Important tip for giving juice to kids:
STRAIN IT!
I know the juicer catches most of the pulp, but strain it MORE!
Kids know juice as being smooth and thin.
So give it to them that way.
Get a paint strainer bag from The Home Depot or Ace Hardware. (Click here to see a picture of what a paint strainer bag looks like.)
They’re in the paint section and you can get 2 for a little over 2 bucks and you can reuse them for a very long time.
Make sure to get the GALLON size.
And as always, be easy going and have fun with juice when it comes to kids.
No pushing. No guilt tripping. No manipulating and convincing.
Just offer it, be happy, make it fun, and if they aren’t interested, just smile and say OK and walk away to enjoy the juice yourself.
